Kopperfield is a marketplace connecting consumers with electrical experts and a platform powering electrical businesses. We engaged Kopperfield in late 2023 to scale their D2C efforts and prove the case for more sustainable growth in the EV charging vertical.

Search is the big opportunity in the EV charger installation market. We doubled down on the channel and revamped their paid search strategy. 

We worked with the team to optimize their onboarding flow for consumers, overhaul their campaign structure and introduce dynamic landing experiences tailored to the searches ( i.e. EV make and model) and user's location.

The personalized and localized experiences increased conversion notably as consumers were looking for local providers and trying to understand if charging solutions fit their car's needs.

We also found that larger, metropolitan markets performed well. This led us to iterate on our campaign structure to sustain heavy saturation in these areas while testing into emerging markets each month.

Over the course of a few months we doubled their EV charger installation bookings nationwide (266% lift) and accomplished this while reducing their CAC three times over.

We're now partnering on their B2B growth strategy and excited to see Kopperfield power more electrical businesses with their innovative platform.
