Background

Spiffy AI creates hyper-personalized LLMs for a variety of consumer and business use cases. Spiffy was in stealth-mode looking to gain product-market fit with their email AI application. We partnered with them as an extension of the team and led their GTM strategy and market validation for the new app.

Work and results
Fractional Leadership GTM Strategy PMF / Market Validation User Research Product Strategy Paid Social Mgmt

We acted as a fractional CMO working directly with the team's founders and AI researchers. We conducted several rounds of user interviews to better understand our ICPs and define a GTM strategy.

From there, we designed a low-lift brand, site and onboarding experience for the app. While in stealth-mode, we tested user acquisition in paid social and worked with the team to optimize onboarding, LLM training for each user, and stickiness of the product.

We successfully onboarded their first few hundred users and enabled them to tell a compelling traction story in fundraising resulting in a $5M seed.
